The idea to launch the Fellowship (as well as separately a Rotary Action Group for Refugees, Forced Displacement, and Migration) emerged after a webinar held in June 2020 with the Organization of American States on the refugee crisis in Latin America. The recording of the webinar is available below. Speakers included the OAS Secretary-General, the General Secretary of Rotary International, and the Foreign Ministers of Colombia and El Salvador, as well as representatives from the private sector and civil society working with refugees. We strive to use our professional skills in our service work and creating learning opportunities for our members, other Rotarians, and people of goodwill around the world.
